The military would like to report the incident to their superiors but they don’t know that many things are changing in Italy. By order of Vittorio Emanuele III, Mussolini is arrested and Marshal Badoglio signed an armistice with the Anglo-American troops, decreeing in fact the end of the alliance with the Germans...
